DA NANG, Vietnam, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The third Da Nang Asian Film Festival opened on Sunday in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang under the slogan "Bridging Asia."
The festival, jointly organized by local authorities and the Vietnam Film Development Association, will run through July 5, featuring film competitions, screenings, workshops, and artist meet-and-greets.
The event will feature 14 Asian films in competition and four international premieres, with entries from China, India, Iran, Malaysia, South Korea, and other Asia-Pacific countries.
Chinese entries Black Dog and Like a Rolling Stone will compete in the Asian category and will also be screened at local cinemas.
